SuperTrend
A multi-symbol SuperTrend board on one screen
- MetaTrader 5 v2.0.6 Released
- MetaTrader 4 v1.0.4 Legacy
The on-chart board
SuperTrend reads direction across many symbols from a single chart and lays the result out as a colour grid — one glance tells you which pair sits on which side, without opening chart after chart. An AUTO mode turns the board state into entries.
What it does
- Scans up to 28 major pairs from one chart
- Shows direction as colour — green for the up side, red for the down side, grey when there is not enough history yet
- AUTO mode turns board state into entry conditions
- Alerts when a pair flips side
- Two-column board in three sizes (SM / MD / LG)
How it works
-
Attach it to any chart
The board pulls the other symbols itself — you do not need a chart per pair.
-
Warm the history first
On a fresh install, run Preload once so the D1/W1 series are complete; otherwise the board shows grey cells.
-
Read the grid
One row per pair; the cell colour is the direction the indicator reads.
-
AUTO or by hand
Turn AUTO on to let the board act on its conditions, or leave it off and use the board as a decision aid.
Who it suits
- Traders following several pairs who want one directional overview
- Traders who use SuperTrend as a directional filter before entering
- Traders who want the signal pushed to their phone through MetaTrader
What to watch out for
- The colours are what the indicator reads — not investment advice, and not a guarantee of any outcome.
- Grey cells mean not enough history, not a broken board — run Preload once to fix it.
- If you enable AUTO, set your lot size and risk first and test the whole thing on demo before going live.
Questions about SuperTrend
Why are some cells grey?
MetaTrader has not finished downloading that pair's history. Run Preload once on a new install, then reopen the board.
Do I need a chart per pair?
No. The board requests the other symbols itself from the single chart it is attached to.
